The article is devoted to the problems of assessing the reliability of suppliers, in particular the calculation of the coefficients of financial stability. It emphasizes that the simplified calculation schemes prevalent in existing methods and the fuzzy interpretation of the term “loan capital” leads to exclusion from the lists for participation in the tender for the supply of an unreasonably large number of participants. To overcome this problem, the authors propose more precise schemes for calculating the coefficients of financial stability.
