PROBLEMS OF PRICE DINAMICS CONVERGENTION IN THE RUSSIAN ECONOMY

The paper examines the problem of the dynamics of price growth for consumer goods in a number of factors. The analysis of the dynamics of price changes for current food products, the demand for which is not elastic. The article examines the convergence of regional indices of food price increases, compares them with the national price level, and concludes that prices are not only rising, but also slowing down and decreasing for certain groups of goods. The article also calculates a matrix of the mutual influence of price growth factors. As a result, of the analysis, conclusions on the convergence/convergence of the inflation process in dynamics are drawn, regarding the factors contained in the structure of the shares/weights of goods that are used in calculating the inflation rate at both the regional and federal levels.
