MEDIA IMAGE MANAGEMENT OF RUSSIAN COMPANIES IN FOREIGN MEDIA

An objective and detailed analysis of publications and materials of the media was carried out, confirming the fact that the media are an effective tool in the formation of a media image of an object and subject, which is fixed in the individual and mass consciousness, influencing the competitiveness of an individual, organization, and country. It is substantiated that during the period of sanctions policy pursued by the United States and Western countries towards Russia, clashes of interests of leading states occur in all spheres of life (politics, economics, culture, religion, etc.). Almost all important events presented in the media actively shape the image of what is happening, often constructing and imposing the desired reality. Using the example of giant companies, trends and patterns in the presentation of material in foreign media in the context of a special military operation were identified as exclusively negative, aggressive, and aggressive. The terminology and tools for forming a media image of an object are presented. The points of view of domestic and foreign scientists on the problems of media image management are explored, and strategies for managing companies in the face of new challenges are proposed.
