Цель статьи – изучить развитие железнодорожных грузоперевозок как фактора экономической безопасности РФ. На основе данных официальной статистики в данном исследовании был проведен анализ динамики организаций, осуществляющих железнодорожные грузовые перевозки, их оборота, грузооборота железнодорожного транспорта в РФ, выявлены проблемы, рассмотрены перспективы развития железнодорожных грузоперевозок. Грузовые перевозки – это неотъемлемая часть мировой экономики. Железнодорожный транспорт является надежным и экономичным средством транспортировки грузов, особенно на большие расстояния. Учитывая обширную территорию Российской Федерации, железнодорожный транспорт является одним из важнейших факторов ее экономического развития, а развитие грузоперевозок по железной дороге – это важнейший аспект экономической безопасности страны. Железная дорога обеспечивает перемещение грузов между регионами, ускоряет развитие их, способствует сокращению территориального неравенства, повышает качество жизни населения и тем самым укрепляет экономическую безопасность страны. Перебои в железнодорожных грузовых перевозках могут иметь серьезные негативные последствия для национальной экономики.
The purpose of the article is to study the development of railway freight transportation as a factor in the economic security of the Russian Federation. Based on official statistics, this study analyzed the dynamics of organizations engaged in railway freight transportation, their turnover, freight turnover of railway transport in the Russian Federation, identified problems, and considered the prospects for the development of railway freight transportation. Freight transportation is an integral part of the global economy. Rail transport is a reliable and economical means of transporting goods, especially over long distances. Given the vast territory of the Russian Federation, rail transport is one of the most important factors in its economic development, and the development of freight transportation by rail is the most important aspect of the country's economic security. The railway ensures the movement of goods between regions, accelerates their development, helps reduce territorial inequality, improves the quality of life of the population and thereby strengthens the economic security of the country. Disruptions in rail freight transportation can have serious negative consequences for the national economy.
